Getting Geared up for Easter!

I love Fridays!  No school for Avery and the start of the weekend.  This past Friday we did art all morning long and stayed in our jammies. That is our (Avery, Dylan, and I) favorite way to spend a day off.  Trevor would only last about 30  minutes :)  A 6:15 soccer game forced us to get dressed late afternoon. I was putting it off because I was sure we were going to get rained out, but we didn't. The rest of the weekend was equally as good just playing with the family and a little date with the hubby!

Today we baked a little Easter treat for playgroup tomorrow .  They are chocolate and butterscotch bird nests.  They turned out cute and the kids enjoyed creating the little nests.  We can't wait to eat them tomorrow.

Complete with a corned beef and cabbage dinner followed up by some green cake.  Our Saint Patrick's Day celebration was full of fun.  Once again all the cousins got some playtime and Mom's feast was delicious!

Zoo Trip with all the Cousins!

It was a fun day at the zoo!  The only thing that could have made it better was less of the yellow stuff.  Despite pollen everywhere, we still had and incredible time!  Truss, Scottie, and Ryann all had their first adventure at the zoo!  The animals were showing off and the temperature was perfect!  We packed a lunch and had a fun picnic too!  Can't wait to go again!

What have we been doing???

Grammy and Grampa came to help out last week and made life so much easier on me!  A huge thanks for your helping hands!  

We have had a few practice egg hunts!  The weather has been so nice that it has been so much fun to get out there and play!

Of course, we can't get enough of sweet baby Ryann!

Have I mentioned soccer season is here and Avery has her two best friends on her team!  Lucky girl!

After her little bike broke, Avery has a new and improved bike and she is zooming around!  

Dylan is a fan of the library now!  I can't wait to take both kiddos together!

On a sad note, Trevor's car got all banged up.  The good news is he is fine and it is getting fixed as I type!

Ryann Olivia Parker!

Friday was a big day...we got to meet the newest member of our family Ms. Ryann Olivia Parker!  She is absolutely precious!  A full head of dark hair, gorgeous eyes, the cutest little nose, and perfect fingers and toes!  Auntie Tricia looks great and is a fantastic Mommy already! We can't wait to hug Uncle Kyle too!  

Kyle's Dad was so sweet to amuse the kids with an adorable magic trick and humor them as they "showed" him their longest/highest leaps and everything else under the sun!  The kids also had fun with The Parker's two sweet puppies! We are so glad to meet you Ms. Ryann and love you so so much!  Welcome to the world and the Trussell family!
