So Sweet!

Last Thursday my sweet husband brightened my day with a beautiful bouquet of tulips. (My favorite flower!) I had a rough week and it meant so much to know he was thinking of me. Tomorrow we celebrate four years of marriage. It is crazy to think how much our lives have changed in the time we have been together. From the care free fun days to the responsible (yes some worries) amazing days we spend together with our family and our precious little girl. Some things get better by the day and being married to Trevor is one of them. Thanks for being my husband!!! I love you!

Avery looked too cute and I just had to add a picture of her! We love you Trevor!

Trussell/Parker Wedding Weekend

The weekend whizzed by! What a whirlwind of fun! We had Tricia's Bridesmaid luncheon Friday at Relish. It was a beautiful restaurant in Roswell that featured southern food. Yum!

On to the rehearsal Friday evening! And then the dinner at Smokejacks! It was a great time and we were able to see lots of friends and family from all over the U.S.!Tricia and Kyle were glowing! Avery hung in until about 10 and that was a record.

Finally, the BIG Day had arrived. Saturday was spent playing with Julie and Casey our good friends from Chicago. While Avery took her afternoon nap I was off to get my hair done and get ready for the wedding. It was a rainy, rainy day. Tricia was set on having an outside wedding and we did! It lightly misted for some of the ceremony, but it was PERFECT! Avery made it down the aisle all by her self. She just followed the flower petals. She was cute as a button. Then Tricia and Dad came out and she was stunning! It was the beginning of a perfect evening. The reception was fabulous. Great food, good music, and lots of dancing. Avery led the evenings festivities by dancing her little heart out. She kicked off her shoes when the ceremony was over and didn't stop laughing and dancing until Trevor took her home around 9. Trevor was sweet to take her home so I could stay and enjoy the wedding. It was a great weekend! I hope Tricia and Kyle are enjoying there honeymoon on the cruise.

March is flying by!

The last few weeks have been very busy! We had Uncle Scott in town the weekend of March 14th and then Monday we left for Florida. Trevor had some work in Clearwater, and Avery and I decided to tag along. We were able to see Great Grampa, Uncle Todd, Aunt Steph, Theoren, Tommy, Aunt Tam and Quinn. Aside from visiting family we also went to the beach, pool, and aquarium. It was a quick trip, but nice to get away. I just wish I had taken some pictures at our O'Mara cookout!

Last weekend was Tricia's 21st birthday. We went to Taco Mac and enjoyed a nice dinner and a yummy treat. Now the countdown is on and Tricia and Kyle will be married on March 28th. We are looking forward to another great weekend with family and friends.

Snow Day In Atlanta

It is hard to believe that yesterday it was 60 degrees in Atlanta and today it is 33! We watched the weather and were very doubtful that the snow would accumulate today after such warm weather. Thank goodness we were wrong! The temperature started dropping, and the snow continued to fall making it a beautiful day!

Unfortunately, I was unprepared. Avery does not have snow pants, boots, or a sled. So... we bundled up in what warm clothes we had and explored the cold white stuff. Avery likes to call it "ice." She also wants to eat it! She scooped some snow off the ground and before I could stop her she had eaten a few flakes and some grass. It didn't stop her from having fun though! We hope to get out there again after her afternoon nap. We have a birthday party in the neighborhood at 4:00 and then home to enjoy a fire and a nice warm dinner. Sounds like a great night!

This week Avery and Sarah had a tea party. The older the girls get the more fun they have together. Sarah is walking now, and that puts them on the same level. It is so nice to see them having a good time. We are looking forward to the start of Music Class this week.

The Greatest Show on Earth!

Today we were able to go to the circus with the entire Trussell Family! What a blast! We got there an hour before show time. This allowed us to get down on the floor and see the clowns and animals up close and personal. Avery's favorites were the pony, goats, doggies, and elephant.

Next, we made our way up to the suite. Grama, Grampa, Tally, Jake, Tessa, Tricia, and Kyle were all there waiting for us. We had delicious food and drinks. Being able to get up and walk around was another perk of our special spot. The view was nice too! We were up just high enough that we could see all the action. The circus has definitely changed since I was a kid. The lights, tricks, and special effects were wonderful. It was an amazing afternoon. Avery soaked it all up! She loved every second! I think we all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for spoiling us Dad! It was a great show and a great afternoon!

Tessa Comes to Altanta

On Thursday morning at 6:30, Tessa arrived in Georgia. It had been a while since her last visit and we were all very glad to see her. On Thursday, we made it to music class and lunch. On Friday, we all went to dinner together to celebrate her internship match. Another year in California :( But very exciting news! On Saturday, we all had lunch together in Alpharetta. And on Sunday, we were off to the circus! It has been a whirlwind, but so much fun!

Tricia gives Avery a horse she can ride herself. Avery loves her new horsey and wants Aunt Tricia to babysit more often!

Avery all bundled up and ready to go play outside in the cold!

The Weekend at the Lake

Today we got home from a wonderful trip to the lake. We went to Lake Keowee with our friends the Poseners. It was tons of fun. We loaded up the car first thing Saturday morning. We had a six people, two dogs, tons of luggage, toys, and enough food to stay a week. Thank goodness for Robbies luggage rack thingy! We may have over packed, but we didn't forget anything. The weather was perfect! A few of the weekend activities included going for walks, playing on the deck, we hiked to see a waterfall, and went in a tunnel that was made for train and since abandoned. It was the perfect getaway and chance to be outside enjoying our company. Avery had a blast! She loved playing with Handley and having a sleepover. I think her favorite part was the bath. Handley and Avery got to get in the tub together. Avery couldn't stop squealing. She was so excited!

Two weekends ago Avery and I spent the night in Alpharetta. Of course, we had a great time. I didn't take too many pictures but I did get one of Auntie Tally teaching Avery how to play the piano.

I wanted to post these pictures of Avery with her first pony tail. I did pig tails once but thought these were cute too!
