Disney Dining
Lunch with the Princesses! I am not sure if Avery could imagine anything better. She was able to have lunch in the beautiful blue castle. Sit at a table with a gorgeous view of the park and the best part... everyone called her princess! The highlight was of course meeting all the beautiful ladies. She also got their autographs and a hug from each one. On a side note, the meal was delicious and came with a great desert too!
Bumpin into the Bennetts!
Would you believe me if I told you that we ran into my Aunt Karen, Uncle Clint, Kyle, Jillane, Kym, Paul, Nate, Sarah, and Gabby at Disney??? The answer is No! They all live in Wisconsin. And happened to be at the park the exact same day we were. We met at the carousel and had a quick hello and hugs. It was great to see everyone I don't get to see often enough. I only wish we had more time. Happy Birthday to Sarah and I hope you guys had a great time!
THANK YOU!
Thank you for a wonderful vacation Grammy Tina and Grampa Bruce!
Boy did we all have a fantastic visit. It was so much fun to finally all be together again. It was an added bonus to get to spend two action packed days at The Magic Kingdom. Avery is still soaking it all up! We couldn't have done it without you. You always know how to make things easier for Trevor and me. Thanks for lugging around two strollers and taking great care of Dylan while we dashed around doing Disney with Aunt Lyn-Ann and Uncle Scott. The Princess lunch was a blast! Finally, a few days at your house was the perfect way to end the vacation. THANK YOU! A girl couldn't ask to have married into a better family. When Trevor said "Tiara out kicked her coverage" at our Maine reception I think he was referring to getting to be a part of your family. Thanks! We love and miss you!

Just the TWO of us!
After a rather crazy week... Friday afternoon rolls around and I get a great call from Trevor. He tells me he has arranged for a babysitter to come at 6. We have reservations at Georgia Grille and dinner will be our favorite lobster enchiladas! What a fabulous surprise! I was thrilled and we had a great night out just the two of us! Three hours was all we needed and arriving home to a quiet house with the kids tucked in bed felt like heaven. I am really looking forward to doing this once a month. Thank you for an unbelievable date! I love you Trevor!
On a side note, this was our first babysitter outside of family ever for Avery and Dylan at our house. It feels so good to find a great babysitter!
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey
Ladies and Gentleman welcome to the greatest show on Earth!
That pretty much sums up what Avery thought of her second circus experience. She was a little scared at the preshow and shed a few tears while debating whether or not to see the clowns and animals up close. When the horses came out she decided her Daddy's shoulders were a safe place to watch the performances.
Then it was to our special seats to watch the show with Ammy, Bamp, Auntie Tally, Truss, Carrie Beth, Robby, and of course Handley. It was a great show and boy did the girls enjoy the popcorn, chips, sodas, and cookies. A good time was had by all. Thanks Dad for the great seats!

Valentine's Weekend
A lovely weekend full of candy, flowers, snow, and Uncle Scott! Thanks for coming to visit. We look forward to seeing you in a week and a half. Happy Valentine's Day!
It seems as though Avery is on the mend. I just hope we can continue to 100% and stay that way as Disney is only a week and a half away. She loved getting to build an igloo, make a big snowman, and finally make her very own snowangel! She was thrilled.

Snowflakes
are falling on my nose!
About 2:00 I peaked out the window to see lots of snow falling from the sky. It was beautiful. Dylan woke up so I bundled him up and took a few pictures. It was really hard to do by myself so they aren't so good. Avery was napping and as soon as she was awake and bundled it was time to venture back out.
The drs visit verdict: croup, with no prescription. We woke up about 6:45 got everyone dressed, fed Dylan, Avery ate in the car. Drove in light traffic and made it in time to our 8:15 appt. We were home by 10 and had a quick stop at the drive thru to reward Avery for her bravery she got a chocolate milkshake. She was thrilled with the whipped cream and cherry too! Let's hope we can get this girl back to feeling good! Lots of rest this weekend and snuggling in the house. I look forward to keeping her cozy!
My Dylan staying warm in his blankie. He can't keep his hands out of his mouth right now!

Overnight
Trevor had a brief trip to Savannah so the kiddos and I packed up and headed North. As Avery says to Alphaphetta. Our first stop was the mall. We had a blast. Window shopped at The American Doll store. She wouldn't even spend her Valentine's money in the Disney Store because she was hoping it would buy her one of the cute dolls. However, she will have to wait to get one of those precious dolls. Browsed at the Disney Store. Got fitted for and puchased new shoes for Avery. She picked them out I might add. Then headed to the carousel and grabbed chick fila for lunch and met up with Ammy. One more quick stop for a few sale clothes for the kiddos and then back to Ammy and Bampa's ranch. To say we wore Dylan out is an understatement. Poor guy, he just gets dragged around with the girls and he could have slept all afternoon!
Back at the ranch we played all day! Tally, Truss, Tricia, and Kyle all joined us for dinner. Jake stopped by after work and we all had a blast. It had been a while since we all got together. We missed Trevor but it was a lovely night.
Then, things took a turn for the worse. Avery was up all night with a barking cough. Oh no!!!!!! Not again. We packed up about 9:30 to head home. Played ate lunch and all napped. When Avery woke up from her nap...she had a fever! Quick call to the pediatrician and she has an appointment first thing in the morning. Please stay healthy Dylan. How many cans of Lysol can one house go through? How many Donuts for Dad and Valentine's Parties will our girl have to miss. Boy am I ready for spring!
