We just returned from a week long vacation in Maine. It has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Trevor and I have been vacationing there for the past 7 years and look forward to making this an annual trip with our family. We stay just outside Portland where Trevor grew up and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I took over a hundred pictures and was a bit overwhelmed when trying to decide how to blog about our trip. I decided to break the week up little by little so that I don't miss anything.
Upon arrival last Saturday we were greeted by Grammy. We loaded up the mini-van and headed to her house. Their we met Grampa and Lyn-Ann. Grammy is the most prepared and thoughtful woman I know. She had everything we could dream of to make our stay in Maine as comfortable as possible. She had car seats, cribs, sound machines, groceries, (I could list everything but it would take forever) even Corona Light for Trevor and scented bath gel for me! She helped us get settled at the beach house and prepared lobster rolls for dinner. Uncle Scott rolled in just before dinner and we all enjoyed a lovely evening in the gazebo. Avery was more than delighted to run around the yard playing tag, hide and seek, and roll down the hill. We just can't do those things in the heat of Georgia summer. Grampa and Avery shared jellybeans and lots of laughs. Dylan...he managed to get everyone to walk him around. Hopefully every ones sore backs have recovered.
By the time we climbed into bed, we were all happy and exhausted. It was a perfect first day in the homeland!

Seriously...your inlaws need to give lessons on how to be so great!
The pictures look amazing! Glad y'all had such a nice trip.
