We had a little last minute change of venue for our vacation. We had originally planned to stay at the Homewood Suites (which is lovely) but as the vacation approached we had a little anxiety about the sleeping arrangements. Two words to describe us... HIGH MAINTENANCE!
So with the help of Trevor's friend we found a beach house that the renters cancelled last minute and was available half price, it was perfect! It was across the street from the beach. Had three bedrooms, two baths, washer/dryer and a cute front porch where we spent a lot of time. Avery was thrilled because she got to sleep in the bunk beds. Dylan got a real crib and everyone slept!!! And sleep is vital to a good vacation!
We were able to walk to the beach. Eat breakfast and let the kids wake up on their own. One morning we even visited the local fire station on our walk. It really helped make our vacation pleasant for all of us.

While I was putting Dylan to bed these two snuck out to the beach. Avery is wearing a t-shirt and undies!

That beach cottage is too cute and I'm so glad it worked out for you to be able to spread out. I can't believe it was cold enough to wear a jacket on the beach! Quite a change from the heat here.
