Practice!

This week we were able to practice having a little baby around. We enjoyed watching Tre earlier in the week, and Harper over the weekend. Both babies were just precious and happy! I am praying for Dylan to be happy, healthy, and easy going. We shall see! Avery just loved having the babies around and was interested in everything they did. We shall see if that will be the case when we bring our little bundle home. However, it was good practice for everyone. Even Daddy got to see that life will be a little busier. I keep telling myself that those first few weeks are going to be crazy but we will make it!

The Twins Golden Birthday!

We are so glad we were able to celebrate with you both! Dinner at Maggiano's was delicious. Tessa, it was so nice to have you back in town for a couple of weeks. We will miss you! Thanks for taking Avery on her very own date night too!

Avery loves the mail!

This week Avery was so spoiled to get a postcard from her Auntie Lyn-Ann and then a package too! She has been carrying the horsey postcard all over the house. Then today, we heard Riley bark when the mail lady delivered her package. Avery ran to the door, spotted it, and yelled "open it Mommy, open it!" She thinks every box is for her! She was thrilled to find a new pink horse t-shirt and a horse in a purse (two of her favorite things). She proceeded to say, "wow Mommy Lyn-Ann sent me Brownie!" So her new horse has a name and is very loved to say the least!

Thanks L.A!

This afternoon we also decided to try on her new school clothes that Grammy Tina and Grampa Bruce sent her. Everything fit and she looked pretty cute modeling it all. She will look great at school! Thanks Grammy and Grampa!

First Day of School

Today was Avery's first visit to her preschool. I can't believe how fast time has flown. Our baby girl is going to school. I think a lot of mom's are really sad about this, but I have to say I am excited! I think she is ready, and it will be really healthy for us to have a little break. When I say little, school is two days a week for three hours. Still... it will be so good for both of us.

As you can see she loved her classroom! She really enjoyed sitting at her seat with her name written on the balloon in front of her. Avery knows some of her classmates and was happy to see them too. We were fortunate to have a few play dates with some of her friends during the week. I think this has helped them all feel more comfortable. She really loves to play with her friend Hendley! They are adorable together!

When we left her teacher asked if she wanted an apple. Avery replied, "Yes, what color apple?" Her teacher said they had red and green. Then asked her which one she wanted. Avery answered with, "Red. Thank you." Then she ate the apple. Just bit into it and ate. She has never done that before. I think she watched her friend Hendley and figured out how to do it!

Avery has two teachers and twelve classmates. I totally meant to get a picture with her and her teachers. That is on my to do list! They are really sweet and I think it is going to be a great year!

When we got home Avery took off her cute dress and put on her comfy new school T-shirt! She wasn't too pleased with me taking another picture.

Riverside Water Park

This morning Avery and I met some friends at the water park. It was a cloudy day and we debated on going but it was worth the trip. As you can see from the pictures Avery and her friends had a ball! They couldn't get enough of the fountains and sprinklers.

On the way home Avery and I stopped at TCBY. One of my favorite ice cream shops (this also happens to be one advantage of having a pregnant mom). We ordered from the drive thru and as soon as we got on the highway Avery dropped her spoon. Isn't that how it goes! So, I gave her mine and waited till she was finished to get my spoon back. Of course, we dropped it on the hand off. So, I ended up drinking the milky stuff in my bowl, but Avery had a great morning!

Two Sisters, Two Baby Boys, Due Two Days Apart!

This afternoon Tally and Baby Truss had a wonderful baby shower! It was so much fun to see all of their new things. Two more months and the little bundle will be here. Can't wait!

It makes it double exciting to know that Dylan will arrive around the same time and they will get to grow up together. The past six months have been really fun to share with my sis! Can't even imagine what the next six years will be like!

Congrats Tally and Jake!!!

Dora the Explorer Show at the FOX Theater

An exciting Sunday in Atlanta! Trevor, Avery, and I went downtown to the Fox Theater for the Dora Show. What a blast! Avery sang and danced the whole time. Well except for when she was enjoying her popcorn snack. What a great way to end a good weekend!

On Saturday night we met the Parro's and Mayer's for dinner. Look at the newest additions! The boys are so cute! We can't wait for Dylan to join the fun!

Jumping Time

Today Avery, Sarah, and I packed up our snacks and drinks and headed to Kangazoom to do a little jumping. The girls had a blast! They climbed, twirled, and bounced. Here are a few cute pics from our outing.

Princess and Minnie Playdate

This morning, Avery and her friend Sarah played dress up for the first time. I couldn't believe how much fun they would have just wearing a different costume. They danced, sang, and screamed. I even got them to pose for a few pictures! It is so much fun to be a little girl!
