We ended on a good note!

Grammy and Grampa came to visit this weekend and it started out a little bumpy. First their flight was delayed over two hours and then Avery got sick. She was so sick we really couldn't leave the house. As always, we managed to have fun anyway. Dylan was his chipper self (beside the clear runny nose that he seems to constantly have).

Of course we (Grammy and Grampa) fixed a lot of things. They helped us repair our back door, finish setting up Avery's big girl room, put together Dylan's radio flyer firetruck, and of course we now have sparkling windows!

We squeezed in lots of giggles, hugs, and kisses. Even though Grammy and Grampa live far away if you came to the house this weekend you would think they lived next door. Whenever we visit it is like we never were apart. The kids ADORE Grammy and Grampa as you can see from the pictures!

There was lots of medicine taking this weekend! Grammy was great at getting Avery to take it even though it really didn't taste good. They also took care of Dylan while we took her to the doctor. The diagnosis is croup and they gave her a breathing treatment and an oral steroid in hopes that she will feel better soon! She was pitiful but having her Grammy and Grampa here seemed to comfort her a lot and was a humongous help to Trevor and I.

We ended Sunday evening with a trip to a local pizza restaurant. It was our only outing and it was delicious and fun! We all enjoyed a bit of fresh air and great company!

Grammy and Grampa we can't thank you enough for making the trip to Atlanta! What would we do with out you?? We love you MUCHO! Thank you, thank you , thank you! We will see you very soon and hopefully we will all be healthy!

Clowning Around at the circus!

So many photos, so much fun :)

He is still happy, no nap and all

He is now delirious

For the third year in a row we have been fortunate to see the Greatest Show on Earth! It was super fun and totally different yet again. Our favorite part is still the pre-show where you get to meet the clowns and cast and see the animals up close. The kids participated in a dance off and if you look closely you will notice Dylan dancing in the middle of the crowd. They were fearless this year! It was tons of fun! Then, it was off to the suite to see Ammy, Bamp, the Sanders, and our friends. It is the perfect viewing experience because the kids don't have to stay in there seats. They can run around, eat, play, and watch there favorite act! It is nap time now, but what a superb day! Thanks Bampa!

Tooling with Truss

A great busy week! Gorgeous temps let us play outside for hours everyday! The fresh air made us extra sleepy at night but it was way worth it!

Thursday we went to the mall to meet up with one of my best Auburn friends and sorority big sister, Erin. She recently had the most beautiful little girl, Palmer. We were able to visit for about 10 minutes when everything got turned upside down. Her son's school called and needed her to come by with some extra clothes. At that very moment my mom called with news that my nephew had gotten sick in the car while they were on there way to meet up with us. Yikes, Erin and I had to cut our visit short but it was still great to see her and meet precious Palmer!

From there we cleaned up the car sick Truss and headed to the food court for lunch. Yum! The carousel was so exciting we could barely eat! We managed to squeeze in a yogurt for desert before the big ride. It was FUN! Dylan really got into it and Avery picked out her zebra. A great day even though it was off to a bumpy start! We loved getting some fun Truss and Ammy time too!

Party Time

On Valentine's Day I was fortunate to be a volunteer for Avery's class party. The theme was a "Tea Party" focusing on manners. The children have been learning about table manners and got the chance to serve themselves and enjoy a little snack together politely. It was precious and so much fun to see! After the delicious snacks we played games, read books, and acted silly. It was fabulous. Thank you Jeanna for taking such adorable pictures! I just can't tell you how pleased I am with Avery's sweet teachers, her adorable friends, and the great school she attends.

Some misc. pics I had to post!

Dylan woke up in a happy mood :)

Valentine's Surprises!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Earlier in the week one of Avery's best friend stopped over with a surprise outfit. An adorable Valentine outfit that she had outgrown. She told her mom that Avery would love it and she surely did! Thanks Jeanna and Leighton!

Thursday we arrived home from Ammy and Bamp's to find a backyard with snow. The kids were excited to get outside and play. It was fun because the temperature had warmed up so that it was tolerable. They had fun!

When we unbundled we heard Riley barking and found a big package from Grammy Tina and Grampa Bruce on the front porch. The kids still remember how to rip open a box and find the goodies. Lucky for them, it was full of good stuff! Thanks Grammy and Grampa!

Hugs and Kisses to all!

Outside!

Fun playing outside at the first sign of sunshine! Dylan is loving the lawnmower and they are wearing out the playhouse. If only I could get Trevor to agree to a swingset!

Playing with the Babes!

This week we spent three days and two nights visiting my parents. It was a mini vacation for us, and a lot of fun and hard work for my parents. They were wonderful hosts and spoiled us silly!

The first day we played and ran to visit Auntie Tricia at her salon. It was fun! And, how could we avoid the chocolate shop next door? We couldn't! We must have gotten 10 truffels and eaten them all before Bampa got home.

We spent the entire next day with Auntie Tally, Truss, and Scottie. It was delightful. She has to be the sweetest most well behaved baby ever (and that is saying a lot because her brother Truss was a gem)! Truss has adjusted unbelievably well! Tally looks fabulous but had a hard time letting us do things for her. You know Tally, she is a "do"er! The kids all had so much fun playing and messing up the house. Mom cooked us a great dinner and Aunt Tricia and Uncle Kyle were able to join in the fun! What a fabulous few days we had! Thank goodness for new babies!
