Amelia's Third Birthday Party

Happy third birthday Amelia! Today Avery had a ball at her friend Amelia's birthday party. We went to a neat little place in Marietta called Cupcake Charm. There we made cupcakes, met Cinderella, Avery got her face painted, and much more. It was an exciting party with lots of friends and fun. As you can see Avery enjoyed every second.

After the party we went to a neat little pizza restaurant on the square with some friends. It was an exciting day! Now early to bed so we can wake up and drive to Florida in the morning. Girls trip to Clearwater!!! Never a dull moment!

Bargain Shopping!

Friday Avery and I made a trip to Perimeter Mall to try to take advantage of a summer sale at Hanna Anderson. Avery was a doll! She played in the store and was patient (yes patient) as I shopped for her and her baby brother. I was able to buy ahead for next summer and save 70% on everything! I am still so excited about the great deal I got. When you do the math I didn't pay more than 10 dollars per item, and the two sweatshirts were originally 50 dollars. I love a bargain! After the shopping we had to stop and ride the tractor.

Busy Weekends

Last weekend was a busy one, but full of fun! According to Avery what isn't fun? We had birthday parties and Avery had a sleepover at Grammy and Grampa Trussell's.

Avery's best friend Handley turned two! They met when they were about months old and really started getting together when they were one. They have really grown up over the past year and grown into great friends. The girls started with paralell play and now just love interacting with eachother. They get so excited to see one another and just love playing. Handley had a great birthday party with lots of outdoor activities. We sang happy birthday and ate delicious ice cream sundae's. It looked like Handley had a great time and Avery loved being a part of her special day. My camera battery died so I don't have any pictures but it was a perfect two year old party! Below you will find a few pictures of the girls and you can see how much they have changed. I look forward to seeing them grow even more!

Saturday night, Avery had her sleepover. She didn't get into bed until way after 9, but she loved every second of having Grammy and Grampa's full attention. She is a busy little girl. Sunday we met at the mall, had lunch, and Avery and Grampa rode the carousel. It was a good way to end a great weekend! Thanks for letting us sneak a date night in Mom and Dad :)

Baby Boy Update

Our little baby is growing! He is about 14 ounces according to the latest doctors appointment. We had our 20 week ultrasound and got some really cute pictures of him. It was so much fun seeing him moving around and getting bigger. We are really excited! Now it is time to get things prepared for his arrival. Maybe we should start with a name and then begin on the nursery???

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We have been celebrating Trevor's birthday for a week. Avery loves birthdays so why not make them a little longer? We had cake and sang to him every night until we finished it. His presents finally got here Monday so he was able to open them then. We were also lucky enough to have a date night Saturday. I took Trevor to one of our favorite spots to get lobster enchiladas, yum! Happy birthday Daddy! Now it's time to get ready for Father's Day!

Trevor is in Boston for a few nights this week and so Avery and I are on our own having a little fun. After dinner tonight I thought we could play in her new water table. Before I knew it she had climbed in. She had a ball! I hope she won't do it again next time though!

Here's a picture of Avery and her friend Sarah. Sarah wasn't too crazy about her Popsicle so she shared it with Avery. Avery loved it!

Weekend Getaway

This weekend we were lucky enough to sneak away to the Posener's lakehouse. We had a blast. Avery and her bestfriend Handley loved playing together! Handley showed Avery the boat, the beach, the tube, and everything else you can think of. It was so much fun being out on the water watching the girls enjoy themselves. Trevor and I loved the relaxing atmosphere and had so much fun hanging out with Robbie and Carrie Beth. Avery got so tired she even took a catnap on the boat. Of course, our trip could not be complete without Avery waking up at 2:30 in the morning with a fever. So...we had to pack up first thing in the morning and come back home. We hated leaving and hope that the Posener's enjoyed a beautiful Sunday on the lake. Thanks for a wonderful weekend Robbie and Carrie Beth!

I took a ton of pictures. They are in random order, but hopefully you will be able to see how much fun we had!

Thank Goodness!

With Avery turning two, it seems as though our house is getting smaller and smaller while we accumulate more and more toys. Trevor and I (with the help of Lyn-Ann) purchased some storage shelves last week. After two nights of not so fun assembly, they are finished. We put them in the playroom and we are getting organized. I can't tell you how good it feels for Avery's toys to have a home. I can't promise, but I hope the next time you are over, that there won't be so much clutter.

Sarah and Avery eating a snack at the counter. Silly girls!
