Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Trevor has had this trip in the works for a while.  Since our engagement almost ten years ago in Cabo San Lucas he has been dying to get back.  We tried four years ago but I was pregnant with Dylan and because of the swine flu outbreak the doctor would allow us to go.  This time we couldn't be stopped.  We got the kids passports, packed our bags, and were off!

The pilot was kind enough to let the kids in the cockpit and Avery sit in the co-pilots seat!
Clearly, we were off to a good start!

Our resort was gorgeous!  The kitchen and two bedrooms and tv's made it much more comfortable with the kids!

View from the porch

Playing at the beach in the Sea of Cortez with the edge of the Earth in the background.

Lunch at the Office, one of our favorite spots!

Kisses from the parrot!

Our only Family shot!  Dylan would never allow one (except here).

La Dolce, the resturant we ate at after we got engaged.  We love this place!

Kids did too!

Avery putting the pirate in his place :)

Boat ride out to Lover's Beach.  Where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean and the famous Arch is located.  This is where we got engaged!  It is really neat with a swimable beach on one side and huge waves on the other.  It is fun to walk through the huge rocks!

Avery was able to swim with the Dolphins!  An amazing experience! I only wish Dylan and I could have tagged along but he had got sick and had to go to the hospital with croup and a fever so we were at home in the condo getting him healthy while Trevor and Avery got one awesome adventure!

In all, this was a trip of a lifetime for our family!  We all cannot wait for our next adventure although it might be a while.  So many people looked at us like we were crazy bringing our kids to Cabo with us and we might be, a little.  In fact, there was only one other child on the plane there.  However, it was a super experience for all of us!  It was A LOT more work for Trevor and I but we both agree that it was way worth all of the effort!  Seeing the kids take in another culture, observe many different things, and experience new adventures was unbelievable   The kids loved communicating with the children there even though there was a language barrier they were able to play, that was cool to see.  They enjoyed the scenery since it is so different from Georgia, and of course they love Mexican food!  One of the cutest tidbits is that Avery was quite taken back by the little kids selling things every where we went.  She would ask "Do they have a Mom?"  I would tell her yes.  And halfway through the trip she decided she wanted to walk around and sell things :)
